Andreas Leu is a former Member of the Executive Committee of Holcim and was a member of the Holcim Awards jury for Latin America in 2011 and 2014.

Andreas Leu studied business administration at the University of St Gallen, Switzerland and holds an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School at Cornell University, USA.
After working for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), he joined Holcim in 1999 as a consultant.
He was appointed General Manager of Holcim Centroamérica in 2002, and subsequently CEO of Holcim Ecuador in 2003. During 2006 and 2007, he also held the position of CEO of Holcim Venezuela. In 2008, he was appointed Area Manager of Holcim with responsibility for Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
He was appointed to the Executive Committee of Holcim in January 2011 and stepped down from the Executive Committee at the completion of the merger of Lafarge and Holcim in July 2015, and left the Group with effect from August 1, 2015.
Andreas Leu was a member of the Holcim Awards jury for Latin America in 2011 and 2014.
