Abderrafih Lahbabi is the Director of Studies at the Ecole Supérieure d’Architecture (EAC), Casablanca. He is co-founder of the school and leads the design and management of teaching programs as well as research coordination within the school.
He studied architecture at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Grenoble and obtained a PhD in urban sciences from the Université des Sciences Sociales de Grenoble, France.
Abderrafih Lahbabi was Director of Town Planning in the Moroccan Ministry of Housing and completed many architecture and urban design projects. He also practiced architecture at the Ottawa Community Design and Environment Division, Canada.
He is co-author of Architectures Régionales du Rif marocain (Regional Architectures in the Rif Mountains). Since 2004, he has been entirely devoted to teaching and research at the EAC.
