The second Holcim Awards competition cycle was launched in the second quarter of 2007, inviting architects, engineers and other specialists in the construction industry to submit projects that meet the challenges of sustainable construction.
These entries were assessed by regional juries in five geographic regions: Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa Middle East and Asia Pacific.
