The Holcim Forum is a series of symposiums for academia and practitioners to encourage discourse on the future of the built environment.
The Holcim Forum supports sustainable construction in the scientific field, among experts in the construction sector, business and society. In addition to renowned specialists from around the world, promising international students from leading technical universities are invited, to represent the next generation and to share their visions.
The first Holcim Forum was held at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich), Switzerland, in 2004 under the theme “Basic Needs.” The second Holcim Forum held at Tongji University in Shanghai, China, focused on the theme of “Urban_Trans_Formation".
