Marc M Angélil is Professor at the Department of Architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich), Switzerland. He is a member of the Management Board and a member of the Technical Competence Center (TCC) of the Holcim Foundation.
His research at the newly formed center "Network City and Landscape" (NSL) addresses recent developments at the periphery of large metropolitan regions. His recently published book Inchoate: An Experiment in Architectural Education focuses on methods of teaching and research.
Marc Angélil received his architectural degree from the ETH Zurich where he also completed his doctoral dissertation.
He was a lecturer at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University and subsequently at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
Marc Angélil practices architecture with his partners Sarah Graham, Reto Pfenninger, Manuel Scholl and Hanspeter Oester - the architectural cooperative agps.architecture with offices in Los Angeles and Zurich.
