The Holcim Awards competition is comprised of five regional Holcim Awards competitions (in 2010/11) and the global Holcim Awards (in 2012). The regional Holcim Awards are based on five geographic areas: Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa Middle East, and Asia Pacific.
Entries in the competition are allocated to a region based on the location of the project. In the case of submissions for which a site has not been selected, “Region” is defined as the principal place of residence of the Main Author.
