Second Holcim Awards – Sustainable Construction 2008/2009
This new book presents inspiring examples of sustainable construction from every region of the world. It features in-depth behind-the-scenes essays showing the enthusiasm, care, and technical skill with which dedicated teams are envisioning and implementing sustainable construction for all 15 projects that qualified for the Global Holcim Awards 2009. Project descriptions of all 52 projects that received Awards, Acknowledgement or “Next Generation” prizes at five regional Holcim Awards ceremonies in 2008 are also included.
PDF copies of the four global winning projects Morocco (Gold), Vietnam (Silver), China (Bronze), and the USA (“Innovation”) will be available following each local hand-over ceremony.
