Global Holcim Awards 2009
Nominated projects must be presented to the jury in a standardized format of seven posters. The image shows part of the exhibition at the global Holcim Awards jury meeting 2006.
The winners of the five regional Holcim Awards 2008 Gold, Silver and Bronze automatically qualify for the global Awards competition to be held in Switzerland May 8/9, 2009. The
15 nominated projects
will be evaluated by the global Holcim Awards jury in early 2009.
The
global jury
is supported by the Technical Competence Center of the Holcim Foundation (ETH Zurich, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Tongji University) and consists of independent, renowned representatives from science, business and society.
Prize money for the global phase of the competition is: Holcim Award Gold 300,000 USD; Holcim Award Silver 200,000 USD; Holcim Award Bronze 100,000 USD; Holcim Innovation prize 50,000 USD.
