“Greening Asia: Emerging Principles of Sustainable Architecture” is one of the standard handbooks for building professionals, developers, operators, and academia. It aims to encourage sustainable design that addresses the diverse needs of the region and its people by reporting on over 30 recent projects throughout Asia that go “beyond green”.

The LafargeHolcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction and Holcim Indonesia co-sponsored the translation into Bahasa Indonesia and the new translation was celebrated at two book launch events in Jakarta and Bandung. Nirmal Kishnani encouraged the audience to participate in the LafargeHolcim Awards. The competition features a Next Generation category for visionary concepts and projects at an early stage of design by professionals and students up to 30 years of age.

Entries in the 5th International LafargeHolcim Awards closed on March 21, 2017. The next LafargeHolcim Awards competition will open for entries in mid-2019.
