In a world where sustainability is interpreted in many ways, the Holcim Foundation is proud to highlight projects that show what it means to create uplifting places—solutions that meet human needs while strengthening ecosystems and long-term resilience. Laura Viscovich Holcim Foundation, Switzerland
With a mission to recognise and promote built-environment projects that accelerate sustainable construction, the Holcim Foundation Awards follow a rigorous evaluation process led by five independent regional juries. Each submission is assessed using the Foundation’s holistic approach to sustainability, which emphasises environmental integrity, social inclusion, economic viability, contextual fit, and the potential for knowledge transfer and adaptation around the world.
