Ainsley Lewis is Dean of the Post Graduate Program for Urban Design & Architectural Urban Conservation at the Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture & Environmental Studies (KRVIA) and Principal, Ainsley Lewis Architect, based in Mumbai, India. He has taught several design and technology courses at the KRVIA. The pedagogic philosophy is to find a synergy between architectural research and the resultant manifestation. He believes in an iterative process of design that is anchored in semantics and phenomenological aspects of architecture.

He received the UNESCO Asia Pacific Cultural Heritage Conservation Award of Merit in 2019.

Ainsley Lewis is an Architect from CEPT, Ahmedabad where he was awarded a Gold medal for his work. He has completed his MArch from KRVIA and also studied at the ETH Zurich.
