Horia Adrian was previously CEO of Romania and Market Head of Emerging Europe. He joined Holcim in 2000 and has successfully held various management roles including CEO roles in Russia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He was also Head of Business Transformation for Holcim.

He holds an MBA from the Ajou University in Suwon, South Korea, and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the Dunarea de Jos University in Galaţi, Romania.

He was a member of the Holcim Awards jury for region Europe in 2014.
