Klaus Sedlbauer

He was previously the Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics in Stuttgart and Holzkirchen, Germany. From 1992-2001 he worked as a scientific assistant and group manager at the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics in Stuttgart and Holzkirchen. In 2000 he was appointed deputy head of department for the field hygrothermics, focusing mainly on outdoor and laboratory testing and also computer model calculation.
Klaus Sedlbauer studied physics at Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich (1986-1992); diploma thesis: Pre-warming of indoor air by means of a ground-air heat-exchanger. He then completed his PhD at the University of Stuttgart (2001); doctoral thesis: The prediction of mould fungus growth on and in building elements.
