Simon Wiedemann is Head of Solutions & Products at Holcim.

He holds a Master of Civil Engineering and a PhD from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich).

Simon Wiedemann began his career in 1991 as a Civil Engineer at Suter+Suter in Zurich. In 1995 he moved to Karl Steiner Zurich as a construction project manager for turnkey construction projects.

He joined Holcim in 2002 to support Country operations in Product, Price and Customer Value Management. In 2013 he took the role as Regional Head of Customer Excellence, ASEAN/South Asia. Since 2018 he is responsible as Head of Solutions & Products to support Countries to further develop their Precast, Dry Mortar and New Services businesses.

He participated in the first Roundtable to prepare the topics of the Holcim Forum for Sustainable Construction in 2020.
