Host cities for regional LafargeHolcim Awards presentations 2020 announced
The LafargeHolcim Foundation has announced the locations for the five regional ceremonies of the 6th International LafargeHolcim Awards for Sustainable Construction in 2020. The Awards ceremonies will present eleven prizes each to real projects as well as bold ideas that combine sustainable construction solutions with architectural excellence.

The LafargeHolcim Foundation has announced the locations for the five regional ceremonies of the 6th International LafargeHolcim Awards for Sustainable Construction in 2020. The Awards ceremonies will present eleven prizes each to real projects as well as bold ideas that combine sustainable construction solutions with architectural excellence.
The ceremonies to celebrate the best projects by region (Gold, Silver, Bronze and four Acknowledgements in the main category, together with four prizes in the Next Generation category) will be co-hosted by local Group companies of LafargeHolcim in Athens, Greece, for Europe; in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for Middle East Africa; in Guayaquil, Ecuador, for Latin America; in Sydney, Australia, for Asia Pacific; and in Toronto, Canada, for North America. The two-day events will take place between September and November 2020.
It’s not too late to enter the LafargeHolcim Awards! The competition offers a total of USD 2 million in prize money and is open for entries until February 25, 2020. It recognizes projects and concepts from architecture, engineering, urban planning, materials science, construction technology, and related fields.
