Project Summary

Dongtan Eco-City urban concept

Dongtan will be one of the first eco-cities developed in China. In the first phase of the Dongtan Eco-City urban concept, housing for a population of 80,000 and 52,000 jobs are planned.

The three overlapping urban villages foster internal transportation by walking, cycling or public means. Renewable energy powers buildings, infrastructure and transport.
