He studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts, Paris and received a degree in town planning at l’Université Paris VIII à Paris.

Abdelmoumen Benabdeljalil began teaching at the Mohammedia Engineering School, Rabat in 1975, followed by the Hassania School of Public Works, Casablanca. He also co-founded “Collectif d’Architecture,” the first collaborative architectural practice in Morocco.

He founded the first design schools in Casablanca and Rabat and co-founded the EAC in 2004.

Abdelmoumen Benabdeljalil is member of many professional associations including the National Order of Architects and the International College of Architecture Experts.
