Dominique Drouet is Area Manager of LafargeHolcim for East Africa & Indian Ocean, with responsibility for Kenya, Indian Ocean Cluster, Tanzania/Malawi, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
He became Area Manager of LafargeHolcim for East Africa & Indian Ocean on July 15, 2015.
He was previously Area Manager for Africa Middle East and a member of the Senior Management of Holcim, and also CEO of Holcim Morocco. He was CEO of Holcim Morocco from 2004 and was appointed Area Manager of Holcim Ltd effective January 1, 2015. His earlier positions include CEO of Holcim Outre-Mer based in la Réunion and CEO of Holcim Lebanon (1999-2004).
Dominique Drouet holds a degree in Engineering from the Ecole des Travaux Publics in Paris and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Toulouse.
He commenced his career as a civil engineer in France and Germany, and held management positions at a number of building materials companies in France before joining Holcim in 1994.
Dominique Drouet was a member of the Holcim Awards jury for region Africa Middle East in 2008.
