Maria Marques is Support Coordinator at the Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction. In her role, she supports the Foundation’s global programmatic activities, contributing to the advancement of sustainable construction practices worldwide. Alongside this responsibility, she manages administrative tasks and ensures the seamless functioning of the Office of the Holcim Foundation.
Before joining the Holcim Foundation, Maria gained valuable experience in the corporate world, having served in an administrative capacity at Holcim’s Corporate Finance & Treasury office. Additionally, she has a diverse background in office and project management, with experience in Angola, Mozambique, Portugal, and Switzerland.
Maria's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in International Relations & Affairs, which she obtained from Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa in Portugal.
