Abdellaloui Najib is a Masters Degree student in the School of Architecture at the Ecole Supérieure d’Architecture (EAC) in Casablanca, Morocco.

His Masters’ thesis examines “Steel Architecture in Morocco” and how structure can be an important aspect during the conceptual process.

As part of his Masters’ degree at EAC, he completed internships at the Urban Agency of Fes as well as a number of architecture and engineering firms.

Together with Mohamed Mahmoud and Jamal Hajji, he developed a project concept for the remediation of the tanneries of Fez. The project proposes measures such as natural filtration systems, and aims to improve working conditions and reduce water pollution. The project was recognized with the Student Poster Competition 3rd prize at the LafargeHolcim Forum on “Infrastructure Space” held in Detroit in 2016.
