Roland Walker is former Delegate of the Board of the Holcim Foundation.

He was been a member of the Board since the inception of the Management Board of the Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction in 2003 until he stepped down in July 2015.

He studied business administration and economics at the University of Bern in Switzerland.

Roland Walker commenced his professional career in the Mergers and Acquisitions department of a major Swiss bank.

In 1980 he joined Holcim and spent over 30 years developing and enhancing the communications and public relations function within the Group as Head of Corporate Communications until his retirement in April 2013.
