Li Yeqing is the CEO of Huaxin Cement Co Ltd, based in Wuhan, China.

He began his career in Huaxin Cement in production management, and was previously General Manager and Deputy General Manager in the company. He has been Chief Executive Officer of Huaxin Cement Co Ltd since 2004.

Holcim became the largest single shareholder of Huaxin Cement Co Ltd in 2008, but the partnership goes back over more than a decade.

Yeqing Li holds a Bachelor of Engineering in silicate and Mater of Engineering in industrial management from Wuhan University of Technology, and a PhD in Business Administration from the Central China University of Science.

He was a member of the Holcim Awards jury for region Asia Pacific in 2005.
